Limit switches are generally applicable to all kinds of CNC lathes and lifting equipment, used to manipulate their strokes and carry out terminal equipment positioning protection. In the control loop of the elevator car, limit switches are also used to control the speed of opening and closing the landing doors, the positioning of the fully automatic door opening and closing, and the upper and lower limit protection of the elevator car.
Which three points should be paid attention to when using limit switches?
1. Electrical standards
There is a big difference between the switching values of AC and DC. Please use limit switches within the rated value range. The control power is very low in the direct current place. This is because it does not have a zero point. Once an arc is caused, it is difficult to subside and the arc time is long. And the direction of the current is determined, so the touch transfer situation will occur, so that the touch cannot be broken due to unevenness.
2. Touch the protection circuit
In order to better increase the service life of the limit switch contacts, avoid noise, and reduce the carbon or sodium cyanide caused by arcs, the contacts are used to protect the power supply circuit. But if you make a mistake, the gain may not be worth the loss.
3. Application environment
Do not independently apply limit switches in the presence of flammable or combustible gas mixtures. Because the switch is hot and causes an electric arc, it may cause a fire accident or an explosion. The switch is not a moisture-proof sealing structure, so a protective cover should be used to prevent oil or water from spilling, flying, or dust adhering to the immediate liquid.
